In smoking hookah for so many years, almost everyone is bound to come across a flavor of tobacco that just clicks with them instantly.  A flavor so good, to them, that they have trouble ever going back to any other flavor.  For me, that flavor is Tche Tche!

A few words about this wonderful flavor before getting on to the technical review.  The flavor is incredibly hard to describe, but just as incredibly amazing the first time you smell it.  It has a not so overbearing tartness to it, with a finishing sweet smell.  I’ve personally nicknamed it Ruby Grapefruit for it’s tartness which resolves into sweetness.  Anyway, on to the review!

Flavor Endurance: 5 out of 10

Despite it’s amazing taste, this flavor burns out rather quickly.  It’s really quite unfortunate.  On average, the bowl loses flavor at about 45 minutes into the session.  It could have been so much better if only the flavor would last longer.

Smoking Endurance: 6 out of 10

Unfortunately, it burns about as quick as it runs out of flavor straight from the tin.  As a word of caution, this flavor comes incredibly over-saturated and I’m reviewing it “as is” out of the tin.  I believe that if you were to dry it out (as I show in another tutorial) it might boost the rating of both the flavor and smoking endurance a good 2 points each.  With my next tin I’ll be sure to try that and update this review later on.

Aroma Strength: 6 out of 10

The aroma of this tobacco is nice and mellow.  You can take a deep inhale of the aroma from the tin and not gag yourself on it.  In fact it is one of the best aromas I’ve seen from any kind of shisha tobacco.

Taste Strength: 7 out of 10

The smell to taste translation is rather good for this tobacco.  You get almost all of the original aroma as a taste in your mouth, which I cannot get enough of.  The flavor isn’t horribly overbearing and you can actually remove the taste from your hookah with ease.  It sticks around long enough for you to enjoy and gets lost when you’re done with it.  A perfect taste quality!

Overall Rating: 6 out of 10

While this flavor is amazing and I cannot get enough of it, it just loses flavor way too fast.  I’m finding myself repacking a new head almost every 45 minutes just to keep the flavor alive and I’ve tried every different bowl, pipe, coals, etc.  You have to be a strong fanatic of the actual flavor to spend the money on this one.

Personal Rating: 10 out of 10

I simply cannot get enough of this flavor, and I even got the owner of Mazaj (the hookah lounge I frequent) to order in a huge supply just because he liked the smell.  So far it has proved to be a great seller.
